When you purchase your e-Lybra system you will receive as part of the package 2 days of training, either from WDS in Malvern or from the reseller that you purchased it from. The training program follows a structured and specific agenda which includes worksheets for you to work from. In addition, you also receive a voucher entitling you to attend a further 2 day refresher course - these are popular events and are great opportunities for networking with other practitioners. Refresher events have so far been held in England, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and both the United States and South America.
Standard training worksheets are used by the WDS certified e-Lybra trainers and these completed worksheets are returned to WDS who then issue an appropriate training certificate to the practitioner. Receipt of a training certificate from us or one of our accredited trainers (see our approved reseller list) will enable you to obtain practitioner insurance - please contact us directly for further information.
In addition to the introductory and ongoing training courses there is also a collection of more than 40 training videos available for registered practitioners. These videos are sent with the software at the time of purchase, but can also be viewed in the e-Lybra Owners Area on our website.
Individual authorised e-Lybra resellers occasionally hold training seminars in their own country (most recently in Norway and Sweden), but WDS also holds regular refresher courses in Malvern (Worcestershire) for e-Lybra practitioners who have owned their system for at least six months. The training agenda for these courses do evolve as successive versions of the software become available, but even so some practitioners attend time after time for the networking opportunities. On occasions where we launch a major update to the functionality of the software then we normally offer dedicated seminars to introduce the new features. Most recently, since 2012, we have also started offering Advanced Courses which offer additional information to our normally presented material. For example, the 2012 agenda was as follows:
